As one of the world's leading watch manufacturers Longines has built itself a wealthy reputation for elegant, utterly trustworthy and sophisticated watches. Their philosophy of making only the very best watches has been sacred to them since 1832. They apply a strict quality standard that allows for zero compromise.
The yellow gold cap Longines has beautiful long tapered lugs. The watch dates from the 1950’s, though the 12.68ZS Longines caliber movement had been launched in the late 30’s, 1938 to be exact.
The two tone dial matches the gold case perfectly. The stainless steel back still has it’s engravings though very faint, it reads; Longines – Waterproof – Antimagnetic – Shock-Absorber - Swiss Made. The back also has a separate personal engravement with the initials C.E.P. We matched the watch with a durable canvas watch strap.
Every serious watch collector should at least own one or two Longines 😉
