Turn on the radio and synchronize the Richard watch to the second in time with the awesome ‘Radio Stop’ feature. Simply pull out the crown and the second hand jumps into position at 12 o’clock, push it back and synchronize the seconds with the time signal from the wireless while in the meantime the movement continues to run non-stop. The Swiss Phénix caliber 132 with ‘flyback’ zeroing is a fascinating high quality movement.
The lovely Richard logo stands for an assembly watch factory, which means that during production they combine individual components such as movements, cases, dials, hands, etc. into a final product. They manufacture complete watches and add their name to the dial and case. They use excellent quality movements from existing Swiss watch brands.
Such a rare and unique watch belongs amongst curiosity watches, not that you would notice anything out of the ordinary in the passing, but the modest ‘Radio Stop’ fun function makes it even more intriguing, wouldn't you agree?
