The Girard-Perregaux brand dates back as early as 1791, so definitely one of the oldest watchmakers in the industry.

We are so excited to introduce this next watch, there is no beating around the bush, this is a once in a lifetime occurrence. Jaw-dropping gorgeous, look at this groovy ‘New Old Stock’ Girard-Perregaux from 1973.

The best part of the watch is without a doubt the dial and hands. We've seen 'Dot dials' from Girard-Perregaux, mind you, but never this version. The vertically sanded gold dial features the most amazing shade of blue crescents ranging from large to small with striped hands in matching gold and blue.
The 20 micron gold plated case is a good size Ø 34.5 mm and carries the Swiss 12.4 caliber manual movement with kif-ultraflex. The movement is a so called Wehrmachtswerk/army movement, meaning it was used in watches for the Wehrmacht or German army. So one could conclude it was regarded as a reliable and robust movement.

#9034 GH. Girard-Perregaux records indicate that the reference 9034 was in production from 1967 (two years before the actual Moon landing) until 1976 and with at least 19 sub-references: AF, BB, B, C, D, FA, FG, FH, FK, FM, GA, GF, GH, GK, HA, HG, HK, KA and Q.

After a lifetime of being cooped up, the Girard-Perregaux is more than eager to get his pulse going and make someone a very lucky bastard, excuse my language 😉
