Yet again a watch with an incredible feature, the Regate Aquastar Geneve Yacht Timer watch carrying the modified Felsa 4000N caliber movement.

The Regate Aquastar watch has two dial variations one with the name ‘Regate’ Aquastar Geneva, the other with the ‘Star logo’ Aquastar Geneva. The star logo is much less common then the Regate name.

It actually all began with the passion of JeanRichard for sub-marines, and the invention of the turnable bezel, not long thereafter he invented the countdown function. This 5-minute countdown function patented in 1961 was especially designed for sailors, to help them take the best departure during a sailing match.

Once you press the pusher, the 5-red dots on the dial appear and count down 5 minutes, gradually turning silver colored as the minutes slip by.
