Up for grabs is this scrumptious 1940’s Alpina with warm light bronze shade dial. Inside you can hear the freshly serviced 592 caliber movement ticking away the time. The 592 caliber is a high quality in-house Alpina movement. The term ‘in-house’ means it has not only been designed by Alpina but also manufactured and assembled by Alpina.
The magnificent sparkling Swiss movement that looks as if it has been manufactured yesterday. The movement is extra protected by the dust cover.
The Alpina has an unusual shape case, especially the lugs with the small rounded section, yet keeping a smooth out-lined look. The case has a in part a matt sanded and glossy finish.
We fitted the Alpina with a new padded animal friendly canvas strap in a forest green color.
