New online is this unusual vintage wristwatch from the Swiss manufacturer Recta Watch Company dating from the mid-1940’s.
The chromed slightly bolt shaped case consists of partially sanded and glossy surfaces, which is an attractable concept and less bling- bling. The stainless-steel case back ref. type G28 has a cool geometric Recta logo engravement.
The all in the house signed Recta movement caliber G6 has an extra ordinary elongated arrow-shaped center bridge. The shock system is not very common either, you can see the ruby is held in place by a prong-setting which consist of 6 tiny triangles, normally the ruby is fixated with a waist-shaped spring. The movement is kept securely in place by the movement ring.
The nicely aged dial has the typical 1940’s charm with subsecond, this section has been given an extra touch by adding a fine raised circle line patron. I think I have pretty much covered it for the most bit.
