Military watches are popular, so many tend to scream “military" when they see a watch with luminous numerals and hands, sorry to disappoint, this not a military watch. But does it have less appeal? Not in my humble opinion. The dial is a lovely yellow/creamy shade with tiny freckles due to some slight aging. The dial has an extra black second scale and a blue inner hour scale. The fine pointed hands are blued-steel outlined and the second hand has a faint dark reddish wash. The case has its original satin finish and shiny bezel. The acrylic crystal has a nice rounded dome shape. And last, but definitely not least is the “all in the house” Universal manual wind movement caliber 267, it is simply gorgeous, please see photos. The movement is extra protected by a dust cover which not only protects the movement against dust and dirt but also from magnetic devices such as a laptop, mobile phone, microwave etc. which can cause a movement to spiral out of control, luckily this is an easy fix for the watchmaker.
