This typical 1940’s Omega is handsomely sized and has a durable robust stainless-steel case. Though the most sticking feature of this Omega is the smoky grey dial, such an amazing shade of grey. The radium filled hour makers and hands have aged perfectly, and harmonize brilliantly with the dial. And the black minute scale literally circles it off nicely, giving it just that little extra distinctiveness. The pink gilded Omega 30T2PC caliber movement looks incredible. The NL engravement on the back is bummer, but not very noticeable. But if by any chance you might find it disturbing, you could easily have it professionally removed. On the other hand, it kind of makes the watch more personalized, it has been around quite a while so it has probably been someone’s pride and joy for some time now. The initials may also indicate it was a gift, or a remembrance of sorts, or the NL might stand for the country code, Netherlands, or maybe it was purely a personalization from the owner, who knows, in any case, it could make someone a great watch and clever investment
